Q: How do I upload a photo (avatar) to my Mindful Mama profile?
A: To upload your photo simply go to, Edit Profile, from your home page. Once there, click on "YES" to enable the avatar. This will allow you to browse the photo/media files on your personal computer. Once you have found the photo that you would like to use, click on it, and then click "Update". This is very similar to attaching files to an e-mail. Make sure you save the changes to your profile by clicking "SAVE" at the bottom of the page.
Q: How do I create a live feed link from Mindful Mama to my own personal website?
A: To do this, select "Edit Profile" from your personal homepage. Somewhere in your bio, enter the name of the business you would like to link i.e. Mindful Mama. Then highlight the business name and click on the photo that looks like a chain link. This will open an information box, where you will be prompted to type in the URL. Click "update" to make the link live.
Q: How do I publish my writing on the Mindful Mama articles page?
A: To post an article you must be a level 3 or 4 professional member. Once you are a level 3 or 4 member, you may submit draft articles from the "Read Articles" tab. First, select a subject heading that is relevant to the article you would like to submit to our editors and click on the link to that topic. (If you do not see the correct heading there for your topic, please feel free to email admin@mindfulmamamagazine.com and inquire about adding the topic.) A list of current posts will appear. From this page, select "Write a New Post". Type your post and then submit it. Our expert editorial staff will review and recommend edits to the article, if necessary. Once the article is complete, it will be posted within 24 hours. This process usually take 3-5 days total.Once the article has been published, you will be free to respond to readers' questions and comments immediately.
Q: How do I join a Mindful Mama group?
A: There are two types of groups: open and invitation only. Thoose groups that are open membership can be accessed by everyone. To join an invitation-based group you must be a professional level 3 or 4 member. Once a member you simple click on the group and then in the bottom right corner type in your credentials or interest in the group and click join. You will not have access to a closed group right away as someone will need to give you access.
